Wouldn't in be lovely to have a hat as nice as a pomegranate? I love the shape and the color. Very sensual.

Is this beaver?

Hi everyone,

I blocked this hat yesterday. It is not dry yet. The felt was given to me with some other material. It was "made in France" but I don't know where it was bought. Do you know what is it made of? Doesn't seems like rabbit to me? Thanks for your help! :-)

Twisted Talents

In this blog I usually talk about me me and me. But last weekend I have dicovered this berliner label that I really like called  twisted talentsand I wanted to share. Located in Friedrichshain,  twisted talents is a collective working in collaboratio with the fashion designer Betty Bund. And excuse me: they DON'T DO FASHION, THEY DO T-SHIRTS!

The other good news is: for every sold t-shirt one euro is given to the Assiociation "Ohne Schliddrüse leben e.V." (an association for people living without a thyroid gland).

buy online on DaWanda: http://de.dawanda.com/shop/twistedtalents

New!
You can also find their products in the Mulackstraße 32 in Berlin-Mitte!

Hat inspired by classical music!

This morning a production team came shotting in my workshop for a canadian website about classical music (http://www.radio-canada.ca/espace_musique/webRadioClassique.asp). They asked me a lot of question about my work, my inspiration and of course my life in Berlin. They have ordered a hat for a young canadian conductor, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, who will conduct the Berliner Philarmormie three nights this week. The hat had to be inspired by classical music.

Do you like it?

Biri on her Balcony

I finally gave to my friend Biri a black hat that I made for her. I have been promising her one for a long time. Doesn't she look gorgeous? She wore it at an opera Premiere here in Berlin and felt good with it. So happy!

cleaning...dusting...decorating...

I just finished cleaning my little workshop. Once a year I look at what I have, replace everything in a better place. Soon enough it will get chaotic again. I know me!

I have put some of my hat collection on the wall. Anette, a friend of mine inspired me this idea.

By the way, this is Fritz my assistant

Definitely inspiring!

Oh! And I found this old label in a vintage hat. Gigi was always and still is my nickname. So happy about this lucky find!
